About the Event
Are you seeking top management representation as a writer, director or actor? Do you want to gain insight into the current spec market for writers or pilot season opportunities for actors and directors? Or are you curious about what managers and agents look for in new clients? No matter what level you are as a writer/director/actor, this is an intimate event that you do not want to miss! All participants will have an opportunity to ask candid questions directly to the speaker! Please keep in mind that this is an informational networking opportunity not a pitching event.

About the Speaker

Maggie Haskins is a Manager and Producer at Principato-Young Entertainment. She was named in The Hollywood Reporter as one of the Next Gen Execs 2016: Hollywood's Up-and-Comers 35 and Under. According to Haskins, “By helping women grow into positions of power, whether that’s writers, directors or showrunners,” she says, “it means we’re going to inherently have better representation across the board.”  Born and raised in Chicago, Haskins originally set out on a career in sports journalism after graduating from Brown University. She wrote for Sports Illustrated On Campus and SI.com but when her sister, a writer, moved out to Los Angeles, Ms. Haskins felt the bug herself. Thinking she would work in television development, she landed her first Hollywood gig at Principato-Young Entertainment and quickly realized that management was a perfect fit. Her focus is representing primarily women – actors, writers & directors and being an advocate for more women in positions of power in the industry.

*Our organization has a no refund policy. (i.e. We do not offer refunds-- not even for participant no-shows, speaker/topic changes or other unforeseen circumstances.) We do however offer event credits when appropriate, upon board approval. Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a paying adult.
